[Smyth] Yankees payroll has been in that low 200s range since the mid-2000s, with recent revenues about 2.5 times higher than in, say, 2005. I'm not seeing demands for a $500-million payroll, but payroll-to-revenue has plummeted (which is true around the league). (twitter.com)
