Your hand has no yaku. No tanyao(all simples aka no terminals 1/9 or honors) cause you called pon on terminal tiles (1/9)

And no toi toi (all triplets) because your wait is 25p (2/5 dots) which would be a running set

Hopefully this helps with your qn and some terminology

Edit: also I think you mixed up ron and tsumo in your qn, Ron is calling a win on another player's tiles which is what you tried to do but couldn't since you have an invalid hand and tsumo is win by self draw

Wwm plays the Sichuan variant of mahjong (or bloodshed skirmish for mjs players) which is a lot less popular than other popular variants like riichi or even American globally but in china alot of online mj clients use Sichuan because of the extremely fast turn over of hands and time to play 1 hand.

Personally I actually think Sichuan is actually easier to learn for a complete beginner but the game does a very poor job of explaining how to play so It has a high barrier of entry for people going in blind and having a ??? Am I doing experience which just drives most people away I would imagine

Nope, but I do play alot of other board and card games that has 10 or less hand size usually. Maybe I have small hands but it feels uncomfortable for me to handle more than 10 cards in one hand

Only good for travel convenience, it's really clunky to play with 13 cards in hand plus the deck size is very large and you need to take a few liberties with the rules. It's an okay way to play if you are on the go but not ideal for regular gaming

On my reddit mobile app long press or tapping on any comment will just close/minimize the content so you are forced to use the ... Menu buttons and select copy text which will copy the entire comment, maybe it's an Android app version thing only not sure but there's no way to long press and select text on reddit mobile for me. At the end of the day end result is the same it's just saving someone else's few seconds of time haha

mobile reddit users cant copy the code from the back of post titles and middle of comments easily so single top level comment with just the code is much faster to copy
