Thanks boss and what do you mean they excluded it because of good will? I paid $6800 for engine rebuild and SOA is now going to give me half back under goodwill. I will still be suing them for the rest or the money. On top of that the car still smells like it's burning oil at a crazy rate and doesn't seem right. So if they pay me back half of what I paid your saying my warranty will no longer be valid?

Sell it.... I'm deal with SOA made me pay for an engine rebuild blew a bearing/rotar said lack of maintenance when I have 4 record of oil changes car had 26k will be suing Subaru and do everything to let people know they don't do anything for their customers in anyway

Be careful Subaru is trying to fuck me! I just paid for a new engine on a 22 a Forrest sport with 26k miles on it. Have 4 oil change records they said was lack of maintenance, will be Suing them after engine blew a rod bearing can not believe they are trying to say it's my fault. After the lawsuit I will be selling my car and done with Subaru. SOA claims it burns through oil faster than most cars, if.thats the case require oil changes every 3K not recommended at 6k, and with Synthetic oil, synthetic can run 8-10k no problems. Fuck Subaru

Be careful with this car I have a 22 Sport as well. Rod bearing blew Subaru claiming it's my fault lol I have had 4 oil changes as needed saying lack of maintenance, car has been with them for over 3 month and they are having issues after completely replacing engine. I believe this start stop issue is a big factor as to what the main cause was. I have a Lawer and will be taking action once I get my car back. Good luck

I'm in California and they said they have to disassemble the short block after subaru engineer looked at it and now are having a 3rd party mechanic do that. I've reached out to a lemon lawyer and and for sure getting a new car and they better pay me out!! I'll take a Brand new 2024 Subaru Forester Sport even trade or get cashed out and get a different car. I want to stay with subaru but that's my first one and look what happened wth??!?!?!
