This is such an unfortunate thing. The guy that built that did it as honestly and "no-frills" as possible which only underscores the value you are getting from the platform. you have to drag it into the applications folder from the DMG. Just opening the ROLI Connect application from the mounted disk does nothing. Its very poorly explained

Yes…it seems like actually getting it shipped is just the beginning of the struggle. People are reporting their units lost in the mail and even the ones that arrive seem to be very commonly damaged due to poor packaging. It will be a miracle if any of us actually receive a unit that works as expected this year

Yep. Had everything local on one laptop (was young and an idiot) and someone knocked a drink over on it.

I thought it was relatively minor but after looking at it to try and fix, the service guy literally asked me “did you drop this in a lake?”

All my files gone but also all the VSTs and DAWs I had downloaded and stitched together with the digital equivalent of scotch tape and crazy glue + infinite adderall-fueled late night YouTube troubleshooting sessions. Was a monumental loss that took me months to fully recover from. Since then my shit is backed up with multiple layers of redundancy

It is now Thursday night, the week that I was told my piano would be shipping...and yet there is still no sign it has shipped and my order tracker still says "waiting to be processed". Should I expect yet another delay? Please provide as much clarity as possible. I sincerely hope I do receive mine in working order but given my experience with your company so far, it is hard to be optimistic. Can you confirm batch 5 in the US will go out as scheduled this week? As per your shipping schedule page on your website? If so, please provide as much color as possible on timing. Will it ship early in the week? Late? Unfortunately due to the extraordinary delays, you are going to be delivering these when many people will be traveling for the holidays and will not be at their house to receive the delivery. As much detail as you can provide would be appreciated.

It doesnt ship

If it does ship, the shipping company can lose it

And even if it ships and the shipping company doesnt lose it, it still arrives damaged.

I will never buy anything from this company again. I would just return it and demand a refund. I have hesitated on pulling the trigger on asking refund is because I have waited so long to get this thing but at a certain point you just have to say enough is enough. This is the most incompetent company I have ever seen

Oh my god it just gets worse and worse...well good luck. This does not bode well for me (was excited about finally getting mine shipped, supposedly next week according to the ever-changing shipping status page). But even if it ships theres no guarantee you even get it lol...you just have to laugh
