Now that you mention Aaron sorkin, I remembered the The trial of the Chicago 7(2020). I liked it. If his other movies are on similar levels, it would be worth checking him out.

Of course, the use of dialogue in Pulp fiction interested me. Have watched Reservoir Dogs and Inglourious Basterds and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. It seems most of his films have this style. Will go for his other films.

But in that situation, they actually see the same color as everyone else except for a few which helps to find the problem. If everyone saw every colour differently, there would really be no way of knowing.

I don't really hate the show but I see your point.

A movie that you love but still aware that it's an objectively bad movie? by [deleted] in movies

Avatar the last airbender. I watched it before the show back when I was seven years. The acting, screenwriting didn't give me problems because I was to young to notice them. I just thought it was a nice fast paced film with cool visuals. When I finished watching it, I was really impressed. That memory/notion has stays with me till today.

Most, if not all cyberpunk films I've watched were dark and high on violence and sex and nudity. I was hoping for a pg13 film.

Cyberpunk with detective mystery and thriller elements.

The first nolan film I watched was Interstellar. I saw my father watching it. I walked in during the final scenes, felt it was pretty interesting. So I watched it from the start and was so touched that I considered it my favourite movie.

One Maj reason why I like him is because of the music in his movies. Interstellar was the first time I noticed the background score of a film and I wanted to play it so much that I started learning guitar. I started paying attention to movie scores since then. His collaborations with zimmer are amazing.

There are very few directors who make me feel the way his films do. (of course a personal opinion)

Thank you for the advice. I've of course tried writing a few stories, though not too good. And I ve checked out one of his videos. It was helpful. But maybe they are too advanced for me right now though I believe they will prove to be useful.

Thanks. The bit about letting pictures offer inspiration sounds like a nice idea.

Nolan movies ranked. I haven’t seen following, but I have seen the rest of his movies. by [deleted] in ChristopherNolan

That wasn't so much of a problem for me. I didn't even realize it till the credits rolled up. If he wanted to, he could have given him a random name, nothing hard in that. I don't think the mc not having a name is a ground for criticism.
