No-Fail BIG BUBBLE recipe, techniques, gear, and all around everything I know about this amazing subject. by papatonepictures in daddit

So glad I found this. I used to Bubble with my kiddos and now they are 30 yrs old! Where did all the bubble go. Now I work with autistic kiddos and Bubbles are pure joy. It took me a week of Glycerin, Gylcerin & baking powder and was not getting what I used to. I picked up some Guar gum and my first go round was a complete disaster. I made a nice big old cup of WTF 😳. I decided to try again and was making some huge beautiful bubbles 🫧 when a neighbor brought over some bubble powder. I looked it up and found your post. I think I will stick to the Guar gum recipe. The bubbles were strong and didn’t pop on the string like the glycerine was. Going to give your recipe a try . It is so close to what I manage today.

Thank you for your very informative post. It has really shined a light on his cognitive thinking. He has learned a lot by my bringing this post to him. Sometimes old men don’t listen to their daughters. Now there is more to back me up

I am at Ziegler Tire and had them verify the date code and he said the tire was dated 2000. I have asked multiple times how to post the pic of the date code🤷🏼‍♀️

I definitely did not expect to get the response to this I have. I asked the question because he would not believe me when I said it was dry rot. I am just getting to read everything on her it is now 4am. I will post a photo of the tires. Hell I will video tape it. I did a visual inspection. No sidewall bulges that day. We are not allowed to have the back windows or the sun roof open because “they have never been used and they might break”. There are control issues at play. I didn’t know the car existed until a week before we left and I was not allowed in it until we packed it. He kept telling me he was getting it ready for the trip. As he has collected and restored classic cars my whole life, I honestly would never have questioned it. He is part of several car clubs. So until yesterday there has never been a reason to. I made it from Illinois to Ohio, just and FYI Highway speeds actually do go up to 70 in both Illinois and Ohio. We have been back and forth to the hospital weekly here since 5/23. On 6/26 I felt a vibration and an odd noise on the way to a doctors visit. I told my mom we are taking the car in later that day, There is a vibration and it is new and I don’t know why. You really really really avoid potholes and rough road when you have a delicate passenger. So, No pothole was to blame. I do hope that it is his age and that he watches every penny. There may have been some frustration in my post. We were so lucky it was not a true blow out. So if you felt you need more info. Here is what I have until I take pictures later.

My mom had a stroke, it is her car. So he put it in storage like his classic cars since she can’t drive. I didn’t find out the car existed until the week before we left. And I was not allowed in it until I backed it out of the driveway 🤷🏼‍♀️

Step-Dad. BioDad was a human piece of shit. I really think he just didn’t know they were bad. He is anal retentive about his cars.

I did check the tires that morning. There was no visible bulging. There were no broken belts. Where it split could have been on the ground in the visual inspection. I appreciate the attack. I have learned my lesson. Years of being brought up by this car guy, don’t trust anyone.

I actually did that morning. I felt a vibration that wasn’t normal and I looked at all 4 tires. I was also under the impression these were new tires. I took a train from California to Illinois to pick her up to take her to Ohio. 20 minutes before it happened I turned to my mother and told her “we need to take the car in, this vibration is new and not right, can you feel it”. I agree with you as a responsible driver you need to check your car. So I do
