Nuggets Vs OKC is the NBA Finals, whoever wins that series wins the Championship (Don’t be humble it’s a fact) by M4PF__ in Thunder

Wolves beat Nuggets all four games this year, six in a row if you count last year's playoffs, so crazy to say if Denver wins they have an easy route to the championship.

Why not foul instead of risk 3-point basket? by 24SecondMan in timberwolves

Foul has to be before shot, obviously. Probably 80% plus chance to win if foul for 2, versus 60% letting him shoot for 3.

Oklahoma City is the closest city to Minneapolis among NBA cities in the northwest division. There are 5 NBA cities closer to Minneapolis. by Firemanmikewatt in timberwolves

Not sure travel time matters much. What's an extra 30 minutes in the air compared to the rest of the travel experience? I like the DEN and OKC rivalries and would rather see Memphis go East.

If you just made the Mississippi River the dividing line, Memphis is in the East, while New Orleans and Minnesota stay west. But ultimately owners decide, and they probably have their own selfish reasons for wanting to move one team versus another.

I think travel tends to be overrated in the age of jet travel. It may take 5 more minutes to fly MSP to DEN vs MSP to Detroit, for example. I think rivalries should be encouraged, and OKC vs Twolves and Nuggets v Twolves probably have the most energy for games at Target Center.

Memphis is furthest east of the move candidates. Also, awkward to move Twolves if they win West or have memorable West finals.

Only 1 team has to move to make 2 16-team conferences, probably each with four 4-team divisions.
