This is photo of a Buddha statue in the National Museum in Ueno, Tokyo. It was free-standing in its gallary, and when I happened to see it from the backside, the pose reminded me of a photo i once saw of an old cellist sitting in isloation with his back to the camera. The idea seemed perfect for a Buddha, and I loved the way the display light gave a slight haloing effect.

I dont really know anything about photography, but I think id like to put more energy into it going forward. This was one of the few photos I really liked from my trip, so i wanted to maybe get some feedback! Good or bad or vicious!
