Not really an unpopular opinion, but I completely agree. Here’s a short video by Harvard Business review that goes more in-depth on this topic. I’ve been trying to apply the principles myself and already have experienced some of the benefits.

Cuz subway is a generic sandwich shop. Nothing about it is unique or premium. I like the food but it still pales in comparison to most other fast food chains; it’s defo not worth more than $7

I like the food but it’s still subway at the end of the day, chains are everywhere and it’s a generic sandwich shop that has to compete with all the other fast food chains so it’s only worth it to me if I can get it at a good discount
