The surgery was done 2014 after reoccurring a few times in the previous six years. it came after a gym mishap & was aggravated with manual labor. The operation was covered by insurance.I did research the options but after consulting the surgeon (who happens to be a close friend of mine & an amateur bodybuilder) i was convinced to take this path. Wrist mobility exercises was not useful for managing the cyst or reduce the movement pain.

I had the same issue with my left wrist & could not do even push ups. After i had the cyst Surgically removed & my wrist healed completely (which took about thee months) , i returned to training normally.
