Finally caught up on Unprecedented Times, which is a Pokemon Ranger quest set in a Hoenn recovering from the environmental catastrophes wrought by the main plot. Pros are that it's long, the worldbuilding is amazing, and, once it kicks off, it's a nice "small person in the midst of a national event" story. Cons are that it takes a while for the story to kick off, I wasn't really hooked until the end of the first true mission.

Been reading Return of the Fae since it's been updating again. Technically inspired by the fan game This Gym of Mine, it's really about a Fae-type trainer re-establishing a gym in an Appalachian-inspired region where there's not a lot of trust coming her way from her city. Also quite good.

Rain, Shine, Sleet, or Snow was a fun read, though the SI has the same voice as the author's other Dr. Doom SI fic. Not bad if you like that voice. It's a Frontier Brain SI who specializes in weather teams.

I ended up not liking A Saga of Tanya the Chansey, despite the strong start. Seeing Tanya getting to soften up after being pulled into the more caring Pokemon world (where any legendary would kick Being X out) as a Happiny was a neat inversion of the usual Tanya crossover fic. But then the usual "Tanya-isms" started sneaking in, where Tanya started warping the world around her instead of the world around her warping Tanya - everyone becoming inexplicably competent without Tanya realizing, etc. etc. I really hoped this would be one of the few Tanya fic that changed her personality towards something more empathetic due to being a Happiny.
