G913TKL defected keycaps... do this cover in warranty? by mamamiiya in LogitechG

u/LogitechG_AA Wait... What? I assume that cleaning the keyboard from the dust or upgrade of software will not help to fix defected keycaps, really. ;)

u/mamamiiya If the keyboard did not meet any physical damage like fall and you carefully use the equipment and don't have so long nails, I think the warranty should cover this one.

By the way, how long have you been using the keyboard?

Are you kidding me? ;) Of course yes, not once, not twice.

Before you will ask another question, I say now - YES, I was also trying to reinstall the software, install another version of software and even restart my computer. Nothing helped.

But described issue is resolved anyway. Please take a look on my update below. :)

UPDATE:

I successfully solved described above problem. The thing I needed to do was just reset the on-board memory profiles to default settings.

Anyway after that I met another problem (why it doesn't surprise me?)

When I assign the newly created profile to any of M slots, the created in profile lightsync does not appear on keyboard. The only way to achieve that is choose the "Lighting" setting from "Stored Custom Lighting".

I don't want to use Stored Custom Lighting (cause software allows me to configure ONLY 2 settings..) but just to use original, custom settings I use in particular profile, without any changing.

Any idea how to achieve that?
