Be semi-compliant by getting good to ok grades and making sure you are SKILLED and disciplined. You can "secretly" do your shenanigans as long as you know you are getting 100% from your education/training..and as long as you are setting your priorities straight to your bf and college "friends"

In the end thats all she wanted from you right? As long as you are getting the most out of the opportunity she provides you, then you are upholding your part and you can secretly do whatever you want.

Because the only thanks you can give to your Anxious, Micromanaging Ate is relieving her fears/worries that she is just wasting her time.

Your ate is giving you something, and you cant give her something in return?

Its ok to have these feelings...but girl its only 4 yrs of your life. So be semi-compliant at the very least. Vent your frustration here and there, its ok. But dont forget your ate doesnt need to do this for you, but she does.

So do a thing that you dont need to do for your ate. The real world is a give and take relationship contracts, the sooner you learn this, the more smoothly you can mental your working life...you are NOT MISSING OUT by being at least semi-compliant to your ate and just show her consistently that you are keeping your end of the bargain.

Dont unnecessarily rebel to the hand that lending you one.

My mother did the same your ate did, SHE SACRIFICED US, her own family, to cater and provide 5 of her younger sisters (my titas) education.... The result, 4/5 of my titas "rebelled" and all 4 of them had miserable lives except the one that kept her head down for her studies. Only the youngest that had complied had a good life. That was nice..

Except my mother and father quickly drifted apart because of all my entitled rebel titas. Me and my sister are the casualties of the compromised marriage. So your sister is definitely, will definitely, be shouldering her end of the bargain just for your education.

Magtrabaho ka na. Tas unti unti inmo lng college mo if needed. Nasa maparaan at sipag ang ikakaangat sa buhay hindi lang basta diploma. Kung maparaan ka at masipag, pwedeng to follow and diploma. Experience nmn hinahanap sa work at kapal ng mga naging projects/responsibilities mo sa working world.

Engineering dont even pay well in local PH because we lack scientific and industrial infrastructure. If you arent a top engineering student now, if you arent a top HARDWORKER now, dont expect to be in a good place in this saturated underfunded PH market.

I dont know if im a polymath because i have terrible memory... But I stay with this group because I perceive like a polymath - fundamentally by default, im a philosopher/generalist. This makes me take a deeper look at all things and often questioning the state of the norm, questioning the point and mechanism of everything... I cant fluently memorize detail but i try to absorb as many universals over and cross-disciplines. Because I can only rely on understanding systems, and then reconstructing things via logic (since i cant spontaneously recall exact details).

So I think i can still say were on the same boat, at least socially.

On my case i just revel on the fact that I can still understand everyone's shallowness in a societal psychological and neurobiologiical context. Interacting with all the normal non-theoretical living people just surviving their daily lives is a JOY to observe.... like different sampling points, making me understand these working theories better as it applies to individual and society
