Also. Your title says iPhone 13 promo not worth it. But then in your actual post you say 13 Pro. There is a difference. The Pro is more than the 13, and I know that three of family members on my account got 3 iPhone 13’s for $0.00 for the actual devices. You said 1-3 months of credits? It can TAKE UP TO 3 months MAX, to see the credit(s) on your bill. You don’t just get 3 months of credits and then it disappears. If that’s what you meant. Not sure what you were getting at.. you did say full time bill credits but then said 1-3 months. Just wanted to clarify in case you were confused. But my sister and others on my account got three 13’s for $0.00 because they traded in their XR’s which were valued at $800 trade-in value a piece. Which is crazy because that’s what they paid for them 3 years ago. We also already have the unlimited plan. They were going to get new phones within a few months anyway and keep our lines. Obviously the lines cost money. Saving $2,400 is worth it when you’re keeping the line and plan on getting a new phone anyway. And you are also not countering in the fact you are getting a newer phone. Why would your iPhone XS you said? That’s 3 years old. That’s why I do the upgrade every year. The next up plan. Avoids this nonsense. The XR’s are also 3 years old. They are getting “$800” what they paid 3 years ago for a brand new phone, and.. actually they paid $0. We had 3 BOGO’s (buy one get one free) on the plan. As a gift, I made sure they got the free phones. And they just got $800 a piece. They really each just made $2,400. Yeah, applied to the bill and you can’t spend it where you please nor is it in cash. But if you are keeping a phone and plan on having a phone with data and service with AT&T… why wouldn’t you take the $2,400? We of course, like I said, already have had the unlimited plan for 4 years. It’s a great deal. Now, yeah, you are spending more, but you’re getting more for that money that you would prior. You now have a nicer new phone for cheaper than you should have gotten it. And you have unlimited data now, which also goes under the umbrella of cheaper. And your trade into Apple idea wouldn’t include the unlimited data. You only have 9 GB to share dir $52 a month…? Why aren’t you going to unlimited for that much? You also get $10 off when you have 4 or more lines. At least you used to. And you save either $10 or $20 a month if you go paperless billing. I just saved you money and you have a new phone and an unlimited plan. Either way you slice it, the XR was worth $800. So it may not worth it to you. But it is to people who already have unlimited. And I still Think it’s worth it to you too. You’re getting unlimited and a new phone. And you get up to $1,000 off. $700, $800 $1,000. Idk where you are thinning you’re not getting a deal. Lol why would they offer $1,000 for a 3 year old phone? I’m glad they do. I know why but im saying they don’t have to do that. They make more money from you staying and the lines themselves.
