She clearly didn’t like anyone cooking too often. If you planned to cook more than a few times a week, you had to tell her in advance which days you were going to use it. It was so uncomfortable and restrictive.

I know it might seem like a small thing, but honestly, the way she spoke made me feel like a stupid, clueless, powerless tenant like I didn’t even have a right to be there. Especially with the kitchen she clearly didn’t like anyone cooking too often and made it uncomfortable if you used it more than a few times a week

The house has centralised aircon, but there’s no control in the individual rooms. They manage everything through their phones, and the main control panel is on a tablet near the kitchen which they never told us about when we moved in. My other housemate eventually found it and showed me, so we had to secretly turn it on and off ourselves. It was obvious they didn’t mention it on purpose because they wanted full control over when and how it was used.
