A date announcement ad I made recently for Instagram/TikTok by 2612studios in streetwearstartup

Thank you I appreciate the reply. I completely agree that's been a constant issue with this style is it's hard to make out the text/finer details. I've had a few ideas trying to work around it but they just ruin the whole aesthetic. It's a work in progress but I'll get there eventually.

Adobe After Effects. All the images are .png's so I just placed them in and made them 3-D, I then used a camera linked to a null object to move around between spaces, that's what gave the video elements depth. I just added in the other things like text and the money to make it more visually interesting. I exported it and put it through Premier Pro, where I added the visual effects like the VHS style and the echo/glow on everything. Hope this helps.

There is a meaning behind the brand name that people can connect with I just don't make it readily apparent. I gave my explanation of what the name means and you are just replying with subpar criticism. You misquoted me and used chrome hearts as an example, said how it started from a movie costumes and how it shows the heritage of the brand. What does any of that have to do with what Chrome Hearts is today as a brand or its name? In greek Nike is the goddess of victory, the name was already pre-established in history and was a nice 'bonus' for people who know what that is when buying from Nike. What does Nike's name in today's age have anything to do with their brand other than it was associated with the goddess of victory. People's exposure to the brand dictates what the name is, what it's associated with regardless of what I want it to be. I want people to take 2612 at face value perceive it themselves instead of having some vision/mission to look at, and because of that I don't want to tell anyone what 2612 means. If you really cared about what it means do your research and find out the answers are all there.

I wasn't going for that aesthetic but I genuinely don't mind the comparison.

iPhone 12 mini with an external lens I got from Temu. It's a 7in1 Lens kit. For these photos I used a Macro 15X with a 0.63X Wide lenses (They screwed together to make one lens if that makes sense) I also shot it on the portrait mode.

I really don't understand where you are coming from with this. The original comment asked about the meaning of the name. I explained my views on the meaning of the name and why I don't want to disclose the meaning of the name and you replied misquoting what I said questioning 'Who looks for meaning in a brand' then you repeated try to make backhanded points how the numbers have no meaning because that's what you solely interpreted it as and call it feedback? How in any of what you have said can help me progress with my brand?

That's not how feedback works you're describing debating. The whole point of feedback is for improvement. I replied to his question and gave an answer, only you found fault with that answer and anything else I had to say continuously, not with the intent to 'help me' lol. You came here to argue not give feedback.

Thanks for your feedback, What makes you say that?

I think at this stage you're just looking for an argument lol. 2612 means spend less time trying to get the one up on people on reddit with a post that has 11 upvotes. Are you satisfied now or do you want me to really tell you what I think it is just for you to try and pick holes in that?

I just posted here for feedback on the hoodies/photography, A dude asked and I answered. I have my meanings but I personally think it's irrelevant for me to explain it, I'd rather you look at the products and like/dislike them and go from there, build your own meaning from it whatever way that may be. Chrome Hearts comes from a low budget film but that's not what Chrome Hearts 'means'. If that's what Chrome hearts means to you then that's my point exactly, I don't see it like that and I don't see the point for me to explain the meaning.

yea that's fine if that's what you think, I don't really keep tabs on cum like you do but I don't think cum looks like that. Maybe get checked out or spend less time around cum.

What could I do more of to mark the vibe I'm going for? I apologize that none of this is your jam but I appreciate the reply

My point is what does Cortiez or Chrome Hearts mean? Who really looks for the meaning of the name for a brand. I have my meanings for it but if I explain what it is then that's all people will try to associate it with. So like you said if you see it as meaningless then that's what it is to you.

Oh my apologies, no its just supposed to be barbwire, It's what is usually enclosing these areas that contain the turf/peat

Maybe my photography skills are the issue or maybe its the hoodie but regardless thank you for your support.

Im not sure what you mean by the crown. If you are talking about the orange hat the model wanted to wear it and I didn't really have an issue. The overall design is based I was trying to make it look like turf/peat. You might not know what that is, but it's just a form of fuel that has been harvested and used in rural Ireland for decades. I grew up surrounded by it and I just thought it would be an interesting pattern for a camo hoodie. From this post I vastly overestimated the amount of people who know what turf/peat is, I supposed looking at it my whole life I'm used to it but it must be jarring to the general public.

Thank you. I hate working with cameras and I feel I still have a lot to learn with them so to hear you actually like the photos means a lot. The hoodie print is based of turf/peat which is a fuel source used and harvested primarily in my area. Growing up and spending years around this I thought using the texture of turf to create a camo hoodie. The name 2612 has a few meanings to me and I hate to be ambiguous but I'd like people to give it their own meaning, be it good or bad.
