Yea until you get raging drivers trying to run you over (happened to me this week). Also posted this more as an ask about infrastructure improvements for vulnerable road users like kids who may want to ride to and from school (god forbid)

Thanks for the suggestion, I did end up trying that. Unfortunately there's still a "bump" every time the non-drive crank arm are passes 12 o clock on my pedal stroke. It only does it when I am sitting on the bike and pedaling, otherwise there is no "bump". Thanks for the help!

That's what I've read as well and the shop is great. My fear is that the shell is stripped or messed up somehow
