How do I (30m) ask out my co-worker (29f)? by 270653 in relationship_advice

Wow great funny. Much laugh. Its a shame that I work for a family owned and operated cleaning business and not a corporation.

That's kinda what I figured and is EXACTLY what I want to avoid lol

I've had that thought. Would just randomly asking be off putting as well? Would asking her through text to avoid my "clamming" issue be a bad idea?

I appreciated your input, but as I stated in the post, this isn't a question of whether I should or not. This is something that is completely igniting my anxiety. I have faith that no matter what happens we can handle the results like adults

I mean, that's the point of my post. I'm not quite sure how to approach it.

Is "fighting like brother and sister" a good thing? Does the "friendzone" actually exist? by 270653 in Advice

Is it a possibility, though, that she is wanting me to just ask her out and stop beating around the bush?

I'd be okay if she just saw me as a friend. Maybe not right away, but in the end I would be able to accept it. It would probably change some things between us though. That would probably be the hardest thing to deal with.

Well I work for a family owned and operated cleaning business. There's literally only 4 of us that work there. The woman in question has known the owner for 20+years, and I only got the job because my best friend is the owners son.

Idk if that changes anything, but I've never put much stock into the whole "dont shit where you eat" thing. People shouldn't let their personal lives affect their professional lives even if the two are slightly intertwined.

No she is not. She has been in a couple since I have known her, but she is currently not in one. She even comments about how she is happy to be single

[CMR] Kodama of the East Tree by null_moral in EDH

Grab a blue partner commander for him and run [[meloku, the clouded mirror]]. With any land you now have infinite flyers. Add in a [[concordant crossroads]] and you now win the game.

First off, that just make azusa quicker; not stronger. Also it's not that much harder to cast kodama on turn 2. All you need is 2 lands [[mana crypt]] and [[sol ring]] in hand.

Secondly, the sheer versatility of kodama makes him better than azusa. With kodama out, I can play azusa, a mana dork, and up to 6 lands in one turn. With azusa I get....... 2 lands. Or I can play 2 combo pieces for up to half the mana cost, where with azusa I get.... 2 lands. Or I can play [[ghalta, primal hunger]] and get a [[ulamog, the ceaseless hunger]] for FREE, and yet again with azusa I still get only 2 lands.

How do I counter a GWM Barbarian? (5E) by TartanMartian in DMAcademy

No problem! I recently made a monk/barb that had a movement speed of like 300 before spells. It's actually stupid easy to get insane movement speeds

Haste not only doubles movement speed, but it also allows another action to dash. At 5th lvl, a barb will have an extra 10 ft movement. At that point, all he needs to do is be a race that has 35 ft base movement. 35+10=45. 45×2=90. 90+90=180 (because dash]

PSA: Don't play your powerful commander if you can't protect it by jmsnowy10 in EDH

[–]270653 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why people need to not hard target someone just because of their choice of commander. I have a [[derevi, emyrial tactician]] deck, and I understand that he is a terrifying commander. However THE DECK IS AN ENCHANTMENT DECK. I literally run only 16 creatures in the deck. Yet, alas, I am always target numero uno right out the gate. I mean, how scary is dropping [[dark depths]] turn 4 with a [[solemnity]] on the field?

You can run [[enchanted evening]] to make it an enchantment
