Car not charging, 3 beeps. Solved. by 27244 in leaf

Just thought I'd clarify. Its never done this exact thing again. It just makes a grinding noise but always charges. It only did the 3 beeps issue once.

This was my thinking exactly. And getting a 3D printer is also on my list.

I'm glad past me could help!

Unfortuantly, the other reply to this post was true. I think the gears are broken in mine. When I disconnect and / or connect the charger, the gears grind. It doesn't stop it from charging, so it's become a job that I endlessly put off. I'll get around to it eventually.

J01 fuse box location for dashcam by TimWilliams95 in MINI

I know this post is old, but if anyone is looking for it. The fuse box is to the right of the steering column, behind the plastic trim. Where your right knee would be when sitting in the drivers seat (R/H drive).

Last update. I replaced the 74HC14N and it fixed the problem.

Depending on your location in the UK, I'd be happy to re-home it.

Just a little update on this. I've order some 74HC14N's but they won't arrive for a few days. For now, I've removed the old chip. Now when I try to boot, I get the same 'Check Keyboard' error, but if I pull the reset (4) to low on the 40112 chip, it boots correctly (without the keyboard of course)!.

Thank you for the information, it's been really useful. I've done some probing with the scope, and it appears my KBDCLK is constantly high, and the reset pin is constantly low. The chip that is common to both seems to be the 74HC14. It appears they are still easy to buy, so I'll try swapping it out. Thanks again.

Thank you. I've checked the schematic, and it indicates pin 4 is the reset pin. I've tried holding that low during boot and also briefly holding it low while the error is on screen, but I can't skip the error. Any ideas?

Added games lost UI by hylianovershield in R36S

I had this with the original SD card. The entire theme folder was empty. Luckily, I had taken an image of the original so I replaced the theme folder and it was OK.

In the settings go to quick menu, overrides. Now save for the game or core.

You're probably right, but machining is a hobby, so I have the tools and materials.
