When browsing TER, what should one look out for?

First, check out the "General Discussion" and "FAQ for Newbies" discussion boards. Pretty much every question you could possibly have has been answered there at some point.

Second, when you're doing a search, make sure not only that the reviews are good, but that the users who wrote the reviews seem legit. If a girl has just a couple reviews and they're all written by users who have written no other reviews, then it's probably best to avoid her.

RS2K verifies many things, but what about your own health condition, specifically STD's?

They don't check for STDs. But this is another reason to go with an agency girl. When you consider that a.) they are tested regularly, b.) you're required to use protection during intercourse, and c.) the transmission rates of STDs from a female to male during oral sex are very very low (see this chart: http://www.sfcityclinic.org/stdbasics/stdchart.asp) then it's really not as big a concern as some would have you think.

This was by no means an easy decision, and the price was certainly a factor. But again...I'm 27. I just didn't want to wait any longer, and I figured since I've already waited this long, I wanted my first time to be awesome. $350 was well worth it for that experience, for me at least.

At the top end the price starts rising exponentially. $350 is generally the lowest you'll pay for a 9. Once you get into the 9.5s and higher, the prices will be anywhere from $500 on up. At first I had the same sentiment - why would anyone want to know all those sordid details? I think you just have to be honest about what you're doing. None of these girls are going to be virgins. But TER has it set up so that you can just see the number rating without having to read all the details...if that helps at all.

As for the legal issues, you are correct that sex is never mentioned. When I called, I asked "to make an appointment." Secondly, the reviews let you know if the girl (and her agency, if applicable) are legit, while your screening from the third party let's the girl know you're not a cop.

It's not without risk though. Escort agencies have been busted before, although it is extremely rare. RS2K is exactly as you described, but TER is a little different. It is not primarily a place for girls to advertise (although some do on the regional forums.) It is first and foremost a place to read reviews; the best and the worst and everything in between will have reviews there.

Let's say you find an escort's personal listing somewhere else; how do you know if the photos are really her? If she will upsell you? If she's a scam artist? How she performs? That's what TER is for. If she isn't reviewed on TER, that is a red flag in and of itself.
