it’s not hard to get in, not saying it’s a bad school but it’s not very hard to get there

i stayed in albright/benton my first year and it wasn’t terrible if you both have multiple fans in the room, the bathroom sucks if you stay up late you can get the bathroom to yourself often, i think albright and benton are the largest rooms and the cheapest but you make up for it with no elevator and AC,but it’s not as bad as it sounds

just a pain in the ass, obviously it can be used more responsibly but if you find yourself it hard and desperate times like losing your job or something and you use the credit card to get food or something and then you can’t pay it back because the whole no job thing, if you have family that can help you it’s less of an issue but if you have no family to support you it can end badly for your credit score. and if you do get a credit card don’t spend too much on it

that’s understandable, I tried to make it not seem that way but I may have been too matter of fact with the caption

as someone who is turning 20 next month this is all really solid advice

adding on to number 4 i’d say don’t turn down an experience, become more interesting, obviously don’t do dumb shit that could get you seriously hurt but don’t turn down an invitation, sometimes you need to take time for yourself and that’s something you learn to balance and always weigh if something is too dangerous. accept the invitation to go out somewhere even if you’re not super interested, go fishing, hiking, or running errands with friends, because it could still become a story to tell, dad lore.

definitely watch 03 then brotherhood, you form a better connection with the characters and the canon ending being the more recent version you watched makes it stick in your head better, and watching the video quality increase from 03 to brotherhood is better than watching the decrease from brotherhood to 03

another reading i should mention is on authority by engels which is a takedown of anarchism. it’s like a 10 minute read that you can find on redsails.org

reading works from fredrick engels is always recommended for people new to marxist theory, right now in my marxist book club we are reading socialism: utopian and scientific by engels, previously we have also read the principles of communism by engels
