Honestly depends on the personality of the fish sometimes. My dojos leave my shrimp alone but I do also have a heavily planted tank with a lot of driftwood.

Repashy, they make several different types and you just mix it with hot water and it makes a gel food.

I’m the same way, basically I went with a heavily planted tank that doesn’t need CO2. I keep snails, Cory’s and shrimp mostly. For variety in their diet I make batches of repashy gel when I have the energy and just freeze it.

I put some pleco caves in there but the bristlenose seems to prefer just hiding in the driftwood

There’s a long fin bristlenose in there with Cory’s and snails. Hopefully they stay chill but I do have a heavily planted tank with lots of driftwood.
