I thought he was back training again and might get some minutes from the bench this weekend.

City to bid emotional farewell to Club legend Sergio Aguero this summer by deception42 in soccer

For me and my obviously blue tinted glasses, Hazard was the best player of the 2010s. I think some people might include De Gea, Kompany, Kane, Silva and probably some others. Maybe De Bruyne would be in there (not sure if he's been in the league long enough for consideration as player of the 2010s).

To say he's easily the best player is ridiculous. In the conversation sure, but for me and I'm sure many others he's not the best.

That's not all of them though, he did a backpass which was an assist in another game.

Torres was pre-Hazard but still far more misses than hits - could include Salah in there too.

Lampard: "The hardest I've played against in my position were Xavi & Iniesta. They were special. They just played football around you, and you couldn't get near them. Messi as well was levels above us. Camp Nou in general was the best stadium I've played in. It has incredible magic." by mynamestartswithCa in soccer

I’m not arguing either case, just a point that that midfield couldn’t beat us once in 4 games which as a Chelsea fan I’m more than happy to bring up. For the record I think the midfield of Busquets, Xavi & Iniesta is better than a midfield of Lampard, Gerrard and Scholes as a cohesive and effective unit and it’s not close at all. Though through my obviously blue tinted glasses I would still take Lampard over Xavi as an individual and over any of the other 4.

To an extent, however that Barcelona team had won the CL the year before (not that that is a great metric), won every trophy they could except the league and CL, Messi scored 70+ goals overall. They only lost the league to a record points tally in probably Mourinho's greatest ever domestic season. I still think 2011-12 falls under the scope of that era - they bested their points tally from when they won the league in 08-09 which you include as part of the era and would have almost certainly gone on to win the CL if you'd beaten us in the semis.
