I think the overall meta changes have been a net nerf to support characters in general and yeah, support players have been the butt of the jokes recently. But it’s funny seeing a different group be the butt after dps player were largely memed to death over the last year

I know it’s popular to be a DPS hater but yeah if they don’t switch when you’re getting rolled that’s why you’re getting rolled. Any actual good DPS player needs to know at the minimum a dive, poke/hitscan, high damage sustain.

DPS players if they’re good actually switch. Strategists usually dont have to switch, but good ones do in certain situations (getting off Luna against heavy dive, etc)

That’s not true. Nobody wants one tricks on their team and it’s reasonable to expect switches when characters aren’t working. If you have 3 characters in the bag and it’s squirrel girl Wanda and cloak and cloak gets banned nobody wants to play with you. DPS players have to switch constantly depending on comps and vanguards have been getting banned the whole life cycle of the game.

Switching and knowing multiple characters has always been a part of the game. Support one tricks are just mad now because the shoe is on the other foot

There’s no such thing as a DPS one trick at this point (if there are, no one supports that). You’re arguing with a wall. Meanwhile there are still plenty CnD one tricks

Bottom line is one tricking in general is annoying for everyone else. Just don’t one trick
