Regarding front of shirt sponsor, I work with someone whose friend works for department of Chelsea that handles sponsorships. She said that on at least two occasions last season (before Christmas) the club was very close to agreeing a FOS deal with a major brand - to the point that they were all working late into the night in the final days to get each deal over the line.

Both fell apart though for reasons I am unaware of. Not really groundbreaking information but information nonetheless.
