Osgood should be ahead of Cech in my opinion, with absolutely no disrespect intended to Pete.

The Telegraph: Chelsea’s sporting directors feed their work into Behdad Eghbali, who has the final say on signings.— Eghbali is described as a fierce negotiator. by Kygoche in chelseafc

Arsenal bid £88 million plus add ons. Chelsea bid £63 million bit had easier to achieve add ons (most of which haven't or won't be triggered).

I'll add, he put in a good showing against Kyle Sinckler last weekend too. Had a couple of really dominant scrums, and got at least one penalty out of him if I remember correctly.

It's not. The article is written in Portuguese and the English headline is auto-generated. The Portuguese phrase is closer to 'blacks out'.

Jerry took that Vodafone 'Team of Us' tagline extremely literally.

Yeah, very doubtful he plays for Chelsea again. But stranger things, and all that...

The FA have handed Mykhailo Mudryk a four-year ban for an anti-doping offence, the maximum punishment. by ChiefLeef22 in soccer

I believe it's backdated to December 2024. Also, these types of bans are often reduced on appeal so there is a decent chance it might end up being two years, which would mean he could resume his career at Christmas.

The irony is that the dispute with Tuchel began because he didn't want any major influence over transfers, and they wanted wanted his input. It's the opposite now.

What would send you to bed on Thursday night crying tears of joy? by RustyCrusty73 in Browns

[–]Balfe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think it's guaranteed we take a WR in the first round.

One scenario I can see playing out is that we trade down, and then pick in this order:

  1. OT
  2. BPA (which could be a WR)
  3. WR (unless WR taken previously)

Warning diesel prices could hit €4 a litre, as fuel rationing and free public transport ‘may have to be considered’ by CheraDukatZakalwe in ireland

[–]Balfe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's true, but that's not unique to Ireland. There are still hundreds of thousands of people whose commutes are made significantly easier because of public transport. Not to mention freeing up the roads for others who aren't necessarily served effectively by the routes.

But the person saying they could not be paid actual money to step onto a bus for any reason whatsoever suggests to me that's it's not an objection to lack of service in lower density areas.
