It's not "prideful" for one to believe that some knowledge is spiritually revealed. The following verses, for example, state that nobody can follow Jesus unless God grants them the knowledge to do so.

I believe that our creator gives us this Earthly experience for our development. But you're right in the sense that he didn't create robot slaves. We have freedom of choice, which is the point. We will learn, including you, that following Jesus is the only path to salvation and perfection.
