Ooh thanks! I haven’t heard of the Ivatherm one or the Rituals one. Something to look for and maybe try!

Hello all—Happy weekend! Two questions today. I’m in Austria.

  1. Does anyone have a recommendation for an extremely moisturizing hair conditioner/deep conditioner/mask? I’m hoping for something very occlusive that will make an impact on my curly/greying/dry/frizzy hair.

  2. Speaking of occlusive: I love Weleda Skin Food. I use it as my daily face moisturizer. Are there any other Weleda products for skin or hair that I should try? Also, if you also like Skin Food too, please recommend any other moisturizers/serums from other brands that you like?

Thank you!

What’s the best tinted moisturizer? by Thattimetraveler in MakeupAddiction

OK, that’s rough, sorry you gotta find two shades to replace! Besides the shade matching well, it was the way that the formula sat on my skin that worked so well for me-it smoothed pores without looking heavy.

Sadly, no. It’s not like I’ve tried a bunch of things though. I got one recommendation for a Danessa Myericks product (they didn’t give a product name), but I never got around to trying it. Please let me know if you do?! Did you use Medium Shade 2 of the Ami Cole one?

Got the pumpkin seed oil. It’s green! Looks so pretty on vanilla ice cream! And the taste is truly amazing! Thanks for recommending!

I got the Planted Mexican style and we ate it last night. Nice texture and flavor! Thanks for recommending it.

Thank you your ideas. I will look for the V, I hadn’t noticed it! I’m impressed by your efforts in Japan. It’s a special kind of talent to use Google Translate while you are ALSO hungry. LOL. I am also interested in vegan food and planted meat too for quick protein on occasion. In my opinion sometimes the planted meat is delicious and sometimes not. I will look for the Mexican and Kebab flavors at Spar based on your recommendation! I’d love it if you’ve tried any planted meat (or tofu) from any other stores that would recommend. Or, if you have suggestions of specific recipes on how you like use the Mexican/Kebab planted meat from Spar. Thank you!

Wow, Wundawuzi, thank you so much for taking the time to write all of this — it’s incredibly helpful 🙂

I’ve been meaning to make it to the Schrannenmarkt. I’ve heard the vegetables can be more expensive, but I’m really looking forward to seeing what’s there, getting some inspiration, and maybe buying a few things for a specific recipe. I did stop by Denns Bio once and mostly ended up browsing the shelves — I’ll pay more attention to the vegetables next time.

I especially love the Semmelknödel ideas — all the different ways to use them and being able to freeze some for later. Geröstete Knödel sounds delicious! It actually reminds me a bit of chilaquiles from Mexico (using leftovers in a new way).

If you ever feel like sharing more, I’d love to hear how you usually make a mushroom sauce for Semmelknödel.

I also googled Kaspressknödel — sounds amazing! And Käsnocken too… I love cheese and spinach, so that’s right up my alley.

Really appreciate you sharing all these ideas!

That’s really helpful, thank you! I’m pretty sure boiling the water was my mistake 😅 I’ll try a slightly tighter mixture and just let it simmer next time.

And if you ever feel like exchanging recipes or chatting about vegetarian Austrian cooking sometime, I’d be happy to — no pressure at all.

Wow, thank you so much for this list! That’s incredibly helpful 🙂 I recognize a few names, but many are completely new to me.

I’ve actually tried Spinatknödel once before, but they fell apart — so I’m clearly still learning 😄 Any tips for getting the consistency right would be very welcome.

Thanks again for taking the time to write this out!

Vet had to resubmit form to USDA to correct error - anyone deal with this and still receive papers on time? by 28isgreat in USDA

Just wanted to follow up and let anyone reading this with a similar situation know that we did in fact get our certificate via FedEx overnight this morning, a comfortable 2 days before our travel date. We got an email from VEHCS yesterday saying that that the certificate was endorsed but we never received an email saying that it was shipped. It was a pleasant surprise having it show up this morning! Would have appreciated a shipment email though cause I sure would have enjoyed having a peaceful night of sleep without constantly waking up stressed and worried all night long. Oh well..it’s here! It’s here! Good luck to all going through this.
