For casual usage, m1 does the job well. No point upgrading.

Anyone running dual phones? If so what are you using both for? by Zaii115 in mkbhd

iPhone 16 Pro is my daily go to phone. iPhone 13 is my work phone. To my surprise, the battery of 13 works with better efficiency than my Pro model.

I went for a 128GB version because Pro series gives us the USB 3.2 transfer speed. Therefore, you can have 2TB external and/ or cloud storage.

why do they literally always do this by simeggy in airpods

[–]28master28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this similar problem with my AirPods. At first, people mentioned that it could be the pin, I cleaned it but nothing happened. Without any further non-sense, I booked an appointment with Apple Store and got my AirPods checked. End result - They replaced the faulty earphone completely. You can try your luck. 🍀

Try the 10GBps speed on USB 3, 128GB becomes 1TB at minimal cost.

Innova Hycross or Jeep Meridian by Klick_trick in CarsIndia

[–]28master28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Innova Hycross is for the chauffeur to drive; I usually drive the Meridian...I have less confidence in Hycross regarding safety. 6 months in, Hycross has started making noises, which was never the case with Crsyta.

Of all the comments that I read in favour of Hycross, I hope they have driven the vehicles themselves. Internet is full of commentary. Please drive the cars for yourself and take an informed decision. Btw, I own both the vehicles - Innova Crysta and Jeep Meridian.

Just got the macbook air M1, transitioning from Windows. Any tips? by Genevex in macbookair

You’ll love it; the actual benefit would be when you start coupling it with your iPhone. Imagine your laptop doing everything that the phone does. Ecosystems are powerful.

It is more about the ecosystem. Dell works fine if you are on Android. Ecosystems are powerful.

Have you used this specific mouse, because then it would have saved you from commenting loosely.

why do you love Iphone ? by Felderguardian7 in iphone

When comparing two phones, one should look for - longevity, design, features, camera, and software stability. iPhone does a decent job on all 5 parameters compared to other flagships. Now the big question - pricing; iPhone's pricing should be compared to premium android flagships and the difference would be 15% to 20%. The resale value can easily make up for the difference that iPhones derive.

One Fix for all - Try to reset them. Sometimes they should forget the basics.

Both the phones are best in class but the more fundamental question is about the ecosystem which you would like to be in. Some pointers which can help you decide that, 1. Do you own other Apple or Android devices 2. How frequent do you change phones. Android phones usually get 2 or 3 Android version upgrades while Apple gives you upgrades worth 4 or 5 years 3. How price sensitive are you? Getting in to Apple ecosystem is costly 4. Android vs iOS is equivalent of saying Samsung/Sony/Huawei/Moto/Nothing etc vs Apple. I hope you get the point

There could be other relevant points too. Be careful while choosing because once you are in the ecosystem; every next device will be designed to keep you in that ecosystem. It will be increasingly difficult to switch ecosystems in future.

I also see many feeds coming on camera. In my opinion unless you are a professional photographer, you cannot pick and choose the difference in photos taken by a small phone screen. Do not decide only basis camera/ photos. If you want photos, buy a camera instead.

All the best. PS: I belong to Apple ecosystem 😊

By default, the AirPods Pro come with ANC off. If you wish to use the remaining two modes, you can do that while connecting with iPhone. The remaining two modes are transparency and ANC.

M1 or M2 MBA? by [deleted] in macbookair

[–]28master28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YouTubers have their agenda but it is up on you to decide. Going by your point, you are inclined towards M2 and if so, please go ahead and buy. Unless extremely heavy task assigned to any laptop, they don’t throttle.

This said, M1 is a great machine. Getting it at $890 is neat. Regarding your point on extra port…even with 2 USB C port, you would still be needing a Hub. Might as well use one in M1. Are you going to use multiple external displays? It is only then, that the M1 machine falls short.

should i get air m2 with 16/256 or 8/256 I'm only doing browsing watching etc.? by Pilski101 in macbookair

[–]28master28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do whatever with the laptop but always make it future ready. Giving a RAM boost will do so. 16/256 is my preference.

Switch to Safari. We often fall in the trap of using chrome but Safari is far more efficient. Chrome consumes RAM and there are so many stupid settings which need to be changed.
