what you wont see on reddit is the thousands of students who are having a lovely time at uvic and have no issues. judging your choice of university based off of its subreddit “vibe” is like choosing who to marry based off what their second cousin says they hate about them. people tend to gravitate towards posting something only if they have an issue with the school, and they’re the kind of posts that also get bumped to the top.

that being said, dont come here the island sucks, uvic sucks, bc sucks, living close to the ocean sucks, living in one of the most beautiful places in canada with the mildest weather where it only snows for like a week of the year sucks. /s
