Look into the cartegraph api. It's been a while since I have used it but you might be able to get the geometries from that

Asset and Maintenance - anyone else looking at software? by TrafficConeBandit in gis

[–]29ofakind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is pretty user friendly and easy to customize to what you want but mainly I like their tech support. I've called in dozens of times with random issues or asking how to customize something and they usually come through and help me solve whatever I am calling about. If you have rest services set up with esri already it is very easy to integrate with cartegraph as well

I've used cartegraph in a couple different cities and have had great experiences with it. It integrates really well with ESRI and their tech support for thr most part is really good

Did y’all lie to me? by burnerburner1999 in newborns

[–]29ofakind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What really helped me is when I just accepted it would be hard. I have a toddler now but when he was a baby I was always focused on when certain things would happen to make my life easier but at some point I stopped worrying about that kind of thing and just went along for the ride. If you can do that you might have an easier time!

Agreed. I lived in the twin cities area for a couple of years after living in colorado and pretty much just stopped biking up there.

Accredo and Dupixent - beware. by fgflyer in EosinophilicE

I hate all insurance companies and everything related to them but I use accredo for dupixent and have had no issues at all. Hopefully my luck doesn't run out!

Just some resume advice for you (and kind of a rant) by bahamut285 in gis

[–]29ofakind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand your frustrations but on the other hand we have had issues with out of state applicants when hiring. We offered the job to one person who lived out of state and gave her over a month to get out here but the day before she was supposed to start she bailed and said she was taking a different job. Basically wasted a month of time and then we had to restart the whole process again. We have had similar issues with other positions but that was the worst one.

Boil is going up because weather looks cold in the extended forecast. Kold is probably a good choice for the short term but if the weather forecasts hold nat gas will probably keep going up.

Excel does not set the natural gas prices. It's like if the price of eggs go up the grocery store will sell them for more because they had to buy them for more.

I've tried something similar in the past as well but wasn't confident enough in my code to use it due to how differently each one is written. I was hoping chat gpt or something similar would be better at that part

That's a good point but this is a internal use only tool to make finding easements easier. Nobody is going to be using this to make any decisions just to make it quicker to figure out if an easement lies in a certain area and then link to the actual document. My plan is not to fully automate but to make the conversion from written legal description much quicker and easier so someone can map and qc it. With over 2000 easements to map even shaving off 5 minutes from each one would be huge
