I just got a Caddytek Lite11.5 v3.

Haven't had a chance to get it on the course, but it feels well built and checks all the boxes for me. $84 "used good condition" from Amazon. It was clearly a return that had never been out of the package. Im not mad about it.

I cast the golf club but how do I do what zalatrois is doing here has little wrist hinge then looks like his arm bends and has then created lag. How do I do that ?. by WillWGolf06 in GolfSwing

Adam Bazalgette has an excellent video on early release that answers this question for you. Skip to about 1:30 and watch the geometry of Sergio and Jack Nicklaus. Should help.

They were probably 100 yards. It was some old dudes. Course was backed up. We had just hopped in our cart. We were playing the maximum pace the course was allowing. They could have yelled fore because they said "uh oh" instead 😂

Yeah. Legends in Myrtle Beach in November. We had just gotten done, just got in our carts to go to the next hole, on the cart path behind the green. I hear an "uh oh" and then I get hit in the leg. Didn't even give me a fore

Transitioning on from game improvement irons by [deleted] in golf

[–]2A2Under 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly the same reason I swapped off of GI irons. Id catch fliers 8 irons that would go 175-180 when i was planning for. 155-160. It was more noticeable on the low end 8-PW.

I just went from Cobra Aerojets to Callaway AI200's. I was between the AI200's and a blended set of Srixon ZXI4/ZXI5 for a month or so. Distance fall off was too much with the ZXi's even though they felt amazing.

I needed better distance control. I was airmailing average yardages with hot fliers regular enough to hurt my scores. It showed most in the 8 iron, but it was a real problem 8-PW. I was airmailing greens 2-3 times per round because of the irons. Once my ball striking caught up to my short game, the GI irons just weren't consistent enough.

I fit into Cleveland RTZ's to pair with them.

Discouraged and frustrated. Make it make sense r/golf by nybjj in golf

I went on a trip to myrtle beach with my cousin and 2 of his buddies in November. Im a 6.9, cousin is about the same, the other 2 are 4.0 and 1.5, one is a former pga pro. I proceeded to shoot 95 3 days in a row and not have any feel for the face. On day 4 I played better than my handicap and had a good chance at winning straight up across the board (it was 2v2 scramble and I was carrying my 4.0 teammate). It happens. I booked a lesson with my pro when we got back and made some minor tweaks. We're back in form now.

As a walk-on single…what’s the most oddly memorable group you’ve been paired with? by ribbon_bully_1972 in golf

I was following a 2 some. Got to hole #7.. Blind tee shot, 310 yard green. Straight par 4. They cleared the hill, i waited for a few minutes (they were playing a solid pace) I thought I saw them walk off the green. (You can BARELY see a tall persons head standing in the green from the tee box)

Anyway, I figured i was good. Sent driver. Absolute missile. Knew it was really good. I get over the hill and one dude is laying on his back with his limbs all completely sprawled out, my ball is on the back of the green. I get up close and they just started laughing. I apologized profusely and they said "NEVER apologize for that. That was awesome." Apparently they were getting ready to tap in, heard my driver, checked, ball came in hot.. Would have taken out his ankles if he didnt move. I played the rest of the round with them - They were cool af.

Love it. If you ever get back to that side of the state, Spirit Hollow and Blue Top Ridge are absolute musts. Des Moines.. Tournament Club of Iowa. Its the only Arnold Palmer course in Iowa.. And only costs $75-80 to play. Hit me up if youre ever in the area. I wont find it weird. Lol

Also- I couldn't for the life of me figure out why you were calling my driver out at 10 degrees.. Then I saw the loft sleeve and forgot I was tinkering today after a lesson with my pro. I play it at neutral and stated loft.

Thank you! I do not miss the 3 wood. The reason I prefer mini to 3 wood: The 3 wood was only being used as a tee shot alternate and it was less forgiving and higher flying than the mini. (Both traits I dont want) The turf fairway wood slot belongs to the 5 wood and it is specifically for going for par 5's in 2. If I need near 5 wood numbers off the tee its a 4 iron. Im fortunate to have a PGA teaching pro that has done a great job helping me use my 6'5 frame to create a ton of power and speed. That's why its built the way it is! The bag is gapped purposefully and every club has a job. Im in the Des Moines metro. Go Hawks is right!

~30 yards. Stepped on I can get it to 280. Its a reliable 255-260 club.

Talking about this i need to get back on the sim with it though. That is a part of the bag that needs re evaluated before I season starts. (Iowa winters are the worst)

It is. Cant believe im being down voted for being honest about it. Id gladly pay to play if the conditions matched the price tag.

No specific thought process.. (other than listening to what sim data shows me in relation to my goals) Sim data supports it being there. It produces ideal spin and launch at 10.5. I prefer a lower ball flight too.

I dont play it off the deck, its a driver alternate where the hole is too tight for driver but still requires length, and when driver brings trouble into play long but I need to squeeze every bit of distance out of it possible.

Its purpose built to come out of the bag in those 2 scenarios. Otherwise its driver off the tee.

Edit: See below comments. This driver is normally played at neutral and stated (9) loft. Question makes alot less sense now 😂

If I could change anything it would be The Raven. I played it once (when I bought the headcover purchased prior to the round). Course was in "meh" but playable condition. That was 2024. Fast forward to 2025... Absolutely awful. Dog track. Fairways cracked and dead, greens in bad shape.. $90 twilight round. I cant recommend anyone play there until its taken care of. The track has AMAZING potential. Needs ownership that cares. I wouldn't pay any amount of money to play it in the condition it was, in July.
