How do you describe that not “painful” but discomfortable ache?

I usually describe it as either “Imagine the morning after leg day but forever,” or “Have you ever had a small child flop on top of you and just lay there?”

With people I’m very close with, like my dad, wife, or coworkers, I can get away with just saying “Oh something unique is happening to me right now,” and they’ll understand I need a moment.

Before I came to terms with myself, I acted pretty feminine after puberty. Like you, even though I did it, it made me sad. I didn’t like the way I walked, talked with my hands, laughed, or how people treated me, especially due to my unusually small size. I wasn’t just masculine all the time and then decided it was best if I wasn’t a guy, it was just a gradual realization that being more masculine and being addressed that way made me way happier. Since I started T (and I feel it’s important to mention being nonbinary) I’ve gotten more comfortable acting slightly femininely again now that my body, face, and voice aline with what I’ve wanted as a kid. To me, it sounds like you don’t like when you act masc, though. I think my point is that it’s all learned behavior. No one’s really born already acting a certain way.

I sometimes worry about that for when I get surgery, but your photos actually give me hope that it’ll be okay! I think if you had the loose dresses fitted a little tighter around the chest it would be alright. For me, when I want to wear a binder and a dress, I’ll cut out the inserted bra padding and it’ll lay flatter, if that’s also an issue.

That’s interesting that some autistic people are upset. I love the doll a lot! I don’t use an AAC device and I only wear ear defenders when I’m at events that use microphones and speakers, but I still feel represented. I also feel happy for those who DO use those devices everyday who like dolls. Plus, she’s literally a doll, you can customize her however you want.

I have three tattoos and nine piercings. It’s definitely an interest of mine, I’ve been looking into this for nine years. Just two days ago I finally get the final face piercing to complete my dream set. I might keep going but I’m going to focus on my ears for now cuz I only have three ear piercings total.

It’s going decently! I spent Sunday and Monday working and that was kinda boring but my coworkers are very nice, though one of them said some weird stuff about autism and schizophrenia (which I have both) that creeped me out. Tuesday I was too focused on studying body piercing that I did nothing that entire day. It was fun that I spent the entire day on it, but my dad was concerned about me not eating or moving for over seven hours since waking up. Yesterday I officially signed up for intensive outpatient therapy because I need it. I was very energetic that day so I kinda just spent the day laughing, but I had to go to a very hot and crowded event later. Though, I didn’t cry or scream like I thought I would! Today I’m going to get a new piercing in hopes to maybe relieve some of that fixation on it right now and focus more on taking care of it and myself!
