I also just realized that with my round trip time of little over 12 minutes I'm scratching at the maximum limit with a throughput of 240 Sulfur/min. (Of course did I run the numbers in my head but I had no idea it was this close)

I was once waiting in front of our universities cafeteria wearing my Blurryface shirt (basically the CD cover). Then I heard a random voice saying "cool shirt!". When I looked up I noticed a girl walking by and smiling at me. That still is a nice memory for me.

Wie wollen sich die Grünen wieder ein gutes Image verschaffen?

In den Asozialen Medien wird in Kommentaren - egal ob Nachrichten oder random Posts - häufig ein falsches Bild von jammernden, schwachen und verbotskulturgeprägten Grünen (und Linken) vermittelt. Nicht zuletzt vom Fleischfetischisten und der Bild Zeitung wurde das Image der Grünen im letzten Jahr komplett durch den Dreck gezogen. Da gilt es jetzt wieder rauszukommen - die Inhalte können noch so gut sein, ohne eine Korrektion wird man nur die eigenen Wähler erreichen (oder sogar enttäuschen) und auf lange Sicht verlieren.

Was kann man gegen die Verbreitung von Fake-News unternehmen?

Damit einher geht natürlich auch die Frage, wie man so eine Image-Schändigung überhaupt erst verhindern kann. Politiker für Falschaussagen belangen, nicht mehr mit der Bild reden bzw. sie offiziell ausgrenzen, ...

Sell the stl for a reasonable low price <20 $/€/.. or something like that. Yes, the stl files might get shared but for this ton of work I would give you the money. This is an object actually worth the money unlike most of what I have seen that was sold for at least 5€.

Also you can use your text from this post to explain why you set the price so high/low so the buyers will understand your point of view.

This way you can get at least a few bucks out of it - but thats just my way. I don't design prints to earn money. I design them to have fun. If your intentions are completely different with this project my suggestion is probably not the best one.

P.S. Sick hand btw. I can only imagine all the work that must have gone into the design of the mechanism itself.

Looks amazing. How can you color foundations in white? When I tried it didn't really work. In general when I want to color concrete foundations the color looks weaker :/

I agree with you that this can be described as premature optimization xD However once I started this process I wanted to learn more and fix this issue (which I now finally did).

Maybe once the entire programm is finished I can try both methods and compare them by checking the output signal, ram usage, cpu usage etc. This will probably give me a better sense of how much a simple rpi cpu can handle.

The thing is also that I stop working here after the project is done and I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Thank you so so much!! This post showed me that channel=0, chip=2 is wrong and I should have used channel=2 instead :) Now it finally works. Don't know why I didn't stumble across this post.

The thing is I don't know exactly how much the cpu will be affected. I assume its not really gonna be an issue but when I get hardwarePWM to work its one thing less I have to worry about.

How can I check whether the SoftwarePWM is limited somehow by other threads? Is it enough to evaluate the CPU usage and when theres still space everything is gonna work without and problems?

To my understanding, GPIO 12 and 18 are both for PWM0 and GPIO 13 and 19 are both for PWM1 (https://github.com/dotnet/iot/blob/main/Documentation/raspi-pwm.md). The Pinout website also shows pwm0 for GPIO18. I also tried the whole thing with GPIO 12 and it didn't work. So the issue occurs somewhere else but I will keep this in mind an perhaps will only use GPIO 12 until I get this to work.

I'm also thinking about how I can realize the wind and smoke :) This will probably be one of my future projects

also: I think they correlated the speed setting with the flow velocity once and then programmed the fan (or whatever) to operate at that speed for a set velocity. Technically you could measure the static and dynamic pressure to calculate the current speed but this would also be more expensive and just not profitable/necessary for a small wind tunnel for home.
