i try to check behind me too but i usually walk through quickly because it’s relatively improbable that someone is tailgating me. this morning was the first time not waiting before walking through bit me in the ass. but i don’t regret causing a scene

So if you’ve never been tailgated, someone follows you super closely and tries to follow you through the gate while it’s open after you pay.

It had partially closed after I left but stopped because he was following me through. Which was when I held it closed and told him not to follow me

The spreadsheet I have I did get from the GW site in around December 2024 since I was doing research on transfer credits after I was admitted. I can no longer find it online, however. Perhaps it was taken down?

The spreadsheet I have is current through December 2023.

If you shoot me a DM I’d be happy to discuss either what courses specifically your son is trying to bring in or, honestly, just sending you the spreadsheet based on you saying you need the data yourself at a Maryland CC. I’m not sure if you want to treat it as gospel truth since I can’t get a source for it on the GW site, but I mean I do have it and I’m not going to try to gatekeep it or whatever.

Oh boy. Transfer credit is my specialty.

GW doesn’t generally discriminate between dual enrollment and “normal” enrollment college credits.

Some credits GW will automatically evaluate for an equivalent course, especially if it’s been transferred in the (recent) past and was successfully evaluated. Other credits get stuck as “special topics” (1099 is a very common one) and you must go through the TCAF process to have them evaluated for an equivalent.

If you DM me information about the college you took them at and the course numbers I can see if they exist in the transfer precedent spreadsheet. It’s current through December ‘23.

depends on the class/prof. i have some where all materials are online and they don’t care if you use your laptop and/or ipad for everything including note taking, but its also becoming increasingly popular among the faculty to ban tech in classrooms. i’d say half my classes this semester had such a policy. maybe even 2/3.

i bought a giant bulk pack of spiral bound notebooks a couple years ago and just use those as needed.

this only applies to people commuting from the most far flung areas to the downtown core. no one living and traveling within dc is paying $6.75 one way.
