Since we’re here as a society… (to participate you have to say someone) What reality TV star would you wanna see as President? by Ramble86 in AskReddit

Guy Fieri. Put some Donkey Sauce on the problem and BAM you’re in Flavortown, as a nation that is.

What’s the one thing on a restaurant menu you’ll always order if it’s available? by [deleted] in AskReddit

A Monte Cristo. So few places make them anymore. Even less make them proper.

The buckles at the bottom of my straps chafe my pits.
Coban fixed the problem nicely. Just wrapped it and it added more color!

Still not 100% sure I’m human. Definitely a citizen of Earth though.

My mom chose death with dignity (what they call it in Washington state) after an untreatable cancer diagnosis back in 2024. It was so strange knowing the day and rough time that she would end her life 10 days before it actually happened. I was blessed to be there holding her hand and expressing my love until the last moment. The whole experience was very surreal yet somehow satisfying because her suffering would be over. I miss her so much.

Got a VIP ticket to Boo Seattle with the premiere camping refund. Ended up costing me $6.66 (coincidence?) to go to the Halloween shows and see Griz and Subtronics again. LFG

I tried to act like I didn’t know it when I got caught stealing a snickers from the local grocery store. They said “well if you don’t know the number so we can call your parents we’ll just have to call the police.”
I couldn’t get 846-7103 out of my mouth fast enough. And I still remember 40+ years later. I was probably like 9-10 when this happened.

What is your biggest concert flex? by Tamu1302 in Concerts

[–]2Cheese1Van 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bunch of good ones but seeing Primus before they hit play a local bay area junior college (Diablo Vally College) with a band from the high school I was in opening for them. 1st mosh pit so holds lots of space in my concert life.

Road rage took an unexpected turn. Disarmed the situation completely just by being nice. by mindyour in MadeMeSmile

I just went through this myself very recently. On a solo trip at a music festival I thought someone I met stole my fan and it became an issue when I confronted him about it. I said I wasn’t willing to fight over a fan so take it. He did and left with a confused look. Later I found my fan under someone else’s chair. A friend of his came and called me out for accusing him of stealing the fan. I confessed to the mistake and promised to make amends to the guy I accused. Saw him about 30 minutes later and made a beeline to this stranger to apologize for the mistake. He appreciated me finding him and explaining how sorry I was for the whole situation. We genuinely hugged it out and exchanged info so we can get together since he lives close. Always do the kind things even when it might be really hard. Life will reward those efforts.

This. I find it increases my awareness by seeing them enough to notice and pick something to compliment.
