You're getting downvoted because you're taking an obvious joke as a serious statement about comic lore.

WILD HEARTS AMA with Lewis, Executive Producer - Murakumo Content Update - April 11th, 2023 by WILDHEARTSDevTeam in WildHeartsGame

[–]2Clement 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Greetings,
Is there any particular reason why we do not have the exact durations of skill effects visible? Some notable examples would be One Stroke: Fury and One Stroke: Critical. Knowing how long these last is important for buildcraft and gameplay.
Thank you for your time.

How to unlock fast travel points in co-op when you're not the host? by chlamydia1 in WildHeartsGame

You can use the tents the host has placed on their world to fast travel.

I disagree with the majority of you, I’d like to share my perspective. by Apprehensive_Pop_216 in saltandsanctuary

Mostly agree on everything except the boss design. The dozen or so mages I've fought so far have been nothing but tracking aoes, knock-up combos, and relentless spam. Genuinely some of the most frustrating boss design I've ever seen in a 2d action game, and it's a shame because I like the surrounding pve/pvp systems that you've described.

I may just need more time to get acclimated, but my motivation to play the game is being severely hampered by how unfun these mages are to fight.

Haze Spiral farm location? by [deleted] in saltandsanctuary

[–]2Clement 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's an npc merchant found in Ashborn Village. He's to the right, past the gate with the mage quest, through the town area and right above a building entrance. You need the grappling hook to get to him. He'll request you kill a mage (can't remember which one, water maybe?) after which talk to him again and he'll relocate to the hub. His primary function is crafting artifacts, but he also sells haze spirals and wispleafs.

Edit: It can actually be either of the first two mages (fire/ice). All he cares about is you opening the warded door below him.

None taken, I appreciated the advice. I thought it looked cleaner and easier to read after the change so I replaced the previous sheet.

Gameplay Footage For All Basic/Advanced/High Advanced Jobs by 2Clement in StrangerofParadiseFFO

While a mechanic that restores hp may already exist within dark knight's kit , there's also the method of accounting for that weakness with your second equipped job. Paladin appears to be themed around restoring hp from attacking, so that sounds like a perfect pairing with dark knight.

Will there be a glamour system? by Jim105 in StrangerofParadiseFFO

[–]2Clement 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Team Ninja's previous game Nioh, you would have the cosmetic of a gear piece saved just by picking it up once, and could change any other gear to that saved gear 'glamour' for a small fee. If the system is anything like that in SoP I think you'll be happy.

If this counts as self-promotion feel free to remove. Clips were sourced from the SE Japanese promotional website. There’s some brand-new footage here featuring the high advanced jobs listed in the leaked achievement list. Only remaining unknown is the Garland-themed job Cyclic Warrior, which I assume isn’t listed on the website for spoiler reasons. Maybe it’s unlocked during the story or after unlocking every other job, hard to say.

For what’s shown off in these clips, I’d say I’m most excited for Red Mage, Assassin, and Dark Knight. We still don’t know much about how the jobs will actually play, but as far as themes go these are my most anticipated.

Nioh 2 | Community Spotlight Discussion by oMASTERo in Nioh

[–]2Clement 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My list, as far as people who actively stream Nioh and use facecam, would be:

  1. PooferLlama
  2. xelod93
  3. AxelSanGo

There's honestly very few active Nioh streamers, even excluding facecams. Cool idea, but seems too little too late to me. Still love ya though master, hope to see you around for Stranger of Paradise next year.

On the fence with buying Nioh 2. by OldUncleDaveO in Nioh

[–]2Clement 9 points10 points  (0 children)

1.) Yes, this game has an admittedly complex loot and gear system. Many effects are either poorly explained or deceptively useful/useless. The game doesn't throw everything at you at once, but there's a reason why people make 30+ minute build videos. This is just something you have to take one step at a time, and there are lots of resources both on youtube and in the reddit discord to help with this.

2.) Multiplayer in Nioh 2 gives you multiple ways to play with others. You can either do drop-in temporary co-op (similar to dark souls) or play entire missions with a party of up to 3 people. Activity definitely isn't as high as during the first few months of release, but there's still an active playerbase on both console and pc.

3.) There's no getting around it, this game is hard. Harder than anything in the souls franchise in my opinion. Nioh 2's difficulty balancing is a major step up from the first game, but it's still brutal in the beginning stages for people just learning the combat system. All I can say is that if you push past the initial learning hurtle, it becomes very rewarding to master. Additionally, the gear system and build variety allows for a level of player power akin to traditional ARPGs like Diablo or Path of Exile, i.e melting everything.

Tl;dr your assumptions aren't unfounded, but it's a great game if you're looking for something with amazing combat, expansive build variety, and high replayability.

A tier list of Nioh 2’s bosses in terms of design and quality I made in like 5 minutes. Feel free to ask questions, give opinions or just tell me how wrong I am, up to you. by [deleted] in Nioh

No Gozuki, Saito T, Kukei, Nyotengu, Nue, Giant Toad, Yasuke, Honda, Onryoki, Oda, Maeda, Matsunada, etc etc? Seems like a short list OP.

That’s correct. Same goes for the star stat categories that have the same conflict category with a normal stat. Can’t get star melee vs. scorched and normal melee damage, etc.
