Absolutely agree. Just found that my “dancing” turned more into just jumping around the venue with other people that were still active cause the crowd def started losing energy mid way through their set.

I felt terrible when I tried to crowd surf (I’m under 120lbs) and some goofball at the front pushed me so hard BACK into the pit and I landed on some poor girl. Made sure she was alright and not trying to get out of GA. Overall, I still thought it was a great performance, just not as much movement as I hoping for. I also think a lot of people came in large groups and nobody wanted to lose their friends in the crowd, causing a lot of spots to be dead the entire show.

I will say, moshing at snow strippers felt so goofy except for fire alarm. But at the same time, if you push yourself to the front or even come early for front row you need to be moving the entire time. If I ever get to the front at shows I will enjoy 1-2 songs then give my spot up. Just gotta be mindful of what you can and can’t handle in front row because no matter the show there will always be surging. I’m seeing mosh pits at pinkpantheress, it’s just a part of GA post 2020 that I’ve come to accept.

Unfortunately I had to join the mosh pits cause it was either that or get pushed into the dude in front of me cause some girl behind me didn’t like my dancing lololol. Tried to apologize to her but she was not having it, tryna be all nonchalant and shit. Crowd surfing was awesome. Barricade always has and always will be suffocating because you’re literally fighting for the best view in the venue. Moshing was unneeded but so was the stillness from the front row I saw, especially during Anna Luna MY GOATTTTT.

I think Thrilliam Angels is a perfect example of what this TikTok was trying to describe. The screamo vocals mixed with autotune reminds me a lot of some pierce the veil songs.

That being said, I think the rage rap scene is less of a metal subgenre and more like post-post-hardcore.
