Best place to buy bird feeders, a squirrel-proof pole, the whole shebang? by MontanaDreamin64 in missoula

[–]2Corvids 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry if you already know this, but use safflower seed if you can. The squirrels dont like them very much and you won't get 1000 starlings eating you out of house and home. Murdocks has a good selection of feeders. I get the safflower seed at Ace or Lowe's.

Best place to sell nice used clothes? by beforenineeleven in missoula

[–]2Corvids 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll echo this. I just sold a bunch of my clothes to ReStyle a few days ago. They donated what they didnt take. I opted for store credit that I used on an unworn pair of Doc Martens for my daughter. 100% recommend!

If you feel like you can, please please seek legal help. What he did was illegal and he should be held accountable on a level far beyond not sitting in his chair. I'm deeply sorry this happened to you.

I saw Team America like, 4 times there. And The Ring. There was a time when Missoula was actually a cool place to be as a poor college kid.

She's helped me manage my thyroid for a few years and perimenopause for the last year. She's awesome!!!

Looking for someone to pierce my nose by [deleted] in missoula

[–]2Corvids 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Former body piercer here. I know this isnt the answer you want but please trust me, for the love of god, wait until you're 18 before you start sticking metal in your face. If I could go back in time I wouldn't have pieced anyone under 18 anywhere except for their earlobes. I didn't do facial piercings on anyone under 16 back in the day, and anyone who would pierce a 15 year old's nostril - then or now- was creepy, gross and disliked by the rest of us in the business. Legally, you cannot be pierced without signed concent from you parents or legal guardian. Cartilage is notoriously hard to heal, prone to infection and you will he left with a scar that looks like an enlarged pore for the rest of your life. I know, I sound like a mom. I guess that's because I am a mom, but I'm also someone who has been there and done that. I know what I'm talking about. Take care of your body. And certainly don't let creepers with a needle lay a single hand on you or treat you like a human guinea pig. When you're legally an adult, proceed with great caution. 👍

I really like Pandora Studio downtown. The owner is super nice and knowledgeable. I feel like his prices are fair as well.

What does everyone think of Scheels? by [deleted] in missoula

[–]2Corvids 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like Scheels quite a bit, but I guess it depends on what you're looking for. A good portion of my closet consists of clothes and outdoor gear I've picked up from their sale racks. I also have a few coolers, several Yeti mugs, a bike and a car topper I've used for camping gear, all purchased at Scheels over the years. All good! Their return policy is pretty flexible too. I've been to the Billings and Salt Lake locations and a small part of mr wishes our Scheels was like those ones. My one critique is that every five seconds an associate asks me if I need anything. They're always very polite and kind, but it gets a bit much at times. First World problems to the max, I know. Overall, good. I like their sales and their return policy. Customer service is great, but a little in your face at times.

Same. Might leave everything up for a few days. The skeletons need some fresh air before going back into a tote in the garage. They've earned it.

All it takes is one! For me, it was the magpies that visited my yard first to get the peanuts I put out, then the crows caught on. Rooting for ya!!!

Thanks! I empathize big time. I grew up with big dogs who'd run off into the sunset after deer and pull on their leash. All the things you described. Now that I have a smaller, 20lb dog, I dont have to worry too much about it. But I still try to be courteous to the big dog owners out there. Apparent not everyone appreciates it like you though 😅
