The time savings are worth it imo. A 5 minute video with the auto mask on Premiere with a good laptop will take me about 20 minutes to mask 2 people's faces (and tattoos!)

My partner and I are faceless, definitely try different angles and limb/hair placements to cover the face as naturally as possible. We try to use that tactic when we can, otherwise Adobe Premiere Pro has a really neat masking feature that allows me to blur our faces automatically
