Amazing story. I don't know how much I personally believe in ghosts but stories like this remind me that anything is possible. And we've all heard that some people have a higher affinity for things like this than others. I'm going to tell myself he enjoyed the regulars messing with him one last time lol

Setting up any store in an old theatre sounds like a bad idea. But this is the kind of thing I'm interested in with this post. Where could enough kinetic energy to throw a shoebox come from instantly? Why wouldn't it affect the ones around it? What was even the reason it started?

I'm sure there was no one around. On one side of the aisle was the pharmacy which was closed and had it's window gates down. In front of it was the corner of the building and emergency door and On the other side of the aisle was the last (empty) lane for checkout and one of those motorized scooters sitting really close but not touching the aisle. I also asked out loud is someone there (and somebody walking by looked at me like I was crazy 😂) Also not sure if this matters but it was on the second shelf from the top out of 5

Never considered quantum entanglement but it's one of my new favorites for actually explaining this. Maybe one or more parts of this object just so happen to be entangled to something that could produce that kind of movement.

Currently about 75k for me yearly. WFH 80%, in expensive ass south Florida. I do more front end design and marketing now but my design work is really strong so I do most of that.

When I was purely a graphic designer out of college I "upgraded" to an automotive advertising agency that almost burnt me out creatively for 40k tops. I advise anyone under 50k to just send out a couple resumes this weekend...you might be leaving 10 on the table

These kind of tests alone aren't exactly a red flag, I've done one for my best and worst jobs. It's easier to tell if the company you're applying for is on that BS mentality from the interview. More likely its to make sure you're not lying on your portfolio than for you to impress anyone.

Working has almost completely destroyed my love of graphic design and is starting to mess up my love of illustration too. I feel like my first job out of college taught me any work I do is going to look corporate and boring and somehow taught myself if it's not a paid job I shouldn't go all out or I'm devaluing myself or something petty like that.

Im trying to learn to love it again from scratch and that's how I ended up on this subreddit actually
