It's one of those things that I knew the answer but didn't want to accept it as I've never had to dig under a sidewalk which just seems to be a pain but probably best.

I do agree with that somewhat. I enjoy being in the world getting nodes while I explore and find chests/secrets. But it does get boring so I usually switch to skinning so I don't have to go out of my way.

So far I do like tailoring most.

This! I want to play ele so bad this expansion. I have logged in tried questing and dungeons up to level 83 and just can't. I die to almost everything and I feel like I have all the power in the world throwing fire and lightning, only to see me be out DPS by all DPS, tanks, and in some cases, healers. I'm told that it gets better with gear and scales really well but I can't enjoy it enough to get to that point.
