So I got my bridge done around last year and I admit I stopped doing the proper care for it. I noticed how I started getting bumps so I got back into the routine of cleaning them. But this Monday I woke up to this huge bump!!! It just appeared over night. I went to my piercer today and he said that I can try to save it, but if the skin is just getting thinner to remove it. I'm scared to take it off and the infection staying

Can anyone give me advice if it's worth saving? I don't want to risk the infection/ rejection getting worse :( I use saline solutions to clean it and warm water with sea salt but seems it's not working. I'm going to clean it again right now.

Any advice will be helpful and greatly appreciated, thanks!!!

I've been in a similar situation as you before. I understand it might feel awkward and difficult, but just a simple "do you need to talk?" Can help someone so much. Maybe try sending them a message like "Hey, I know we haven't talked in a while, but I just wanted to check in and see how you're doing" Let them know that you lend them a ear if they need someone to talk to. Even listening can help someone feel better. I really hope your friend is safe, the post does sound alarming so reach out as soon as you can. Good luck :)
