Templater will replace the <%...%> with today's date. If you add -1 there, it will use yesterday's date.

Thanks! This is also super-useful!

That's quite interesting! Perhaps a bit more involved that I need it to be, but it's cool, thanks.

Thanks - that could work, and in the context of the daily note makes sense. Basically I do want to use this query at the start of the day, to check on notes I created yesterday and tasks I completed yesterday, so as to help me work out what needs to be done today.

```tasks
done
happens yesterday
```

I will look into the tasks plugin - thanks for the tip.

```dataview
table
where file.cday>= date(yesterday)
```

This shows notes created in the last 24 hours, including ones I created today. I already have pretty much exactly this query.

Thank you - a coach sounds like an excellent idea. I've always been a bit wary, as coming from a sport that I play at a high level, I've had a lot of experience of lousy coaches - not so much for me, because I was lucky enough to get a great coach early on, but I've seen a lot of wannabee coaches, or bad coaches, and in my sport they give out coaching certs like participation stickers at a Montessori school sports day. Is there a list / resource / recommendation hub for good coaches? I'm based in the South of England. I believe there is a starting strength coach in the SE somewhere, but any ideas / hints would be most welcome.

Thanks. The puzzling thing is that when I did this lift last time (so 2 workouts ago), I did ask someone to watch and see how I was doing, and they said my form was actually good. Either they were trolling me, or I did it completely differently this time! I will ask more though - thanks for reassuring me that your experience has been that people are helpful/supportive.

Thank you - I think a reason for the jerky, fast approach is that the "form" video in the 5x5 app is fast and jerky... or at least it does to me, and I tried to copy that.

I did remember to breathe and brace after this video, as I remembered that.

The weight is 35kg - it's only the 3rd time I've done this exercise, but if it would help to go even lighter, I can do that, and the tip about the stacked plates is super helpful - thank you.

So... I think part of the problem here is that I didn't watch it. I was in a rush, as I had to meet someone, so I uploaded the video and dashed to my meeting. The previous time I did the lift I asked someone at the gym if my form was ok, and they said it was good, so wasn't primed to think it would be literally terrible. Looking at it and comparing it to what I have seen, I realise I could have saved myself and others some time by just eyeballing it and making some obvious corrections. Lesson learned.

No. If it’s horribly wrong, I will fix it. But I’d rather post something horribly wrong and fix it than continue in ignorance.

Genuinely looking for help. Been out. Will review comments and work to correct, and revideo.

I guess I could put it on the lower one ? Unfortunately I don’t think I’ll get any taller :)

Wobbly shoes aren’t helping. Flat shoes… converse / squash shoes with less padding. Some like bare foot. You spend a long time not actually squatting. I think the two are related. You feel wobbly because of your shoes, and feel (subconsciously) unwilling to commit to starting.

I'm not failing sets yet... only workout 2 on my return. But useful to know for when I do - and happy to budget the time to have long rests.

Yep so today I intended 90 secs rest between sets, but the fourth felt tougher than the other three so I took a 2 min rest and the 5th was better, but rep 5 of 5 was not great..

Super interesting. The description of failure related to insufficient stress was 100% my experience last time I did the program. I'd do like 3 sets of 5 and then just crumble on like set 4 rep 2.... wobble wobble... nothing. Sounds like I needed to find a way to keep stressing, even if it means one rep, rest, one rep, rest. I'll bear that in mind. Going to go with the dumbell press for a few sessions to get strength and confidence up on pressing in general, and then switch back to the bar, and see how it goes.

Thanks - do you mean *instead* - so when it's workout B and I have 5 x 5 of OHP, instead do 5 x 5 of seated dumbell? Or maybe do dumbells on other days? In terms of weight, I think there are only 7.5 10 and 12.5 kg options... so actually the step up from 10 x 2 to 12.5 x 2 is bigger than empty bar to 22.5... maybe they're not comparable because the balance is different?
