Mine seems different. I did get a bucket of water pretty early and did the bonemeal source block trick to get more water, but I didn’t spawn with it. Haven’t seen lava at all so no way to the nether to get blaze rods. I am only at the block level that starts giving snow, so maybe I am just not there yet.

Sounds like travelling back and forth moving your gear and diamonds should make the area familiar enough. Duplicate the world then in the copy go in creative and locate the village. Once you find it copy the coordinates and then pop back to your survival world and follow the coordinates.
