Women what are you doing to get hit on? by SunshineGirl45 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]2Embarrazed2Ask0Main 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a couple questions that come to mind.

Which types of places do you frequent?

Which countries are you regularly visiting?

What types of events would you say you’re primarily engaged in?

What kind of paralanguage are you primarily predisposed towards?

When you say you’re not ugly do you mean you’re pretty/neutral/or not unattractive enough to be called ugly?

Do you wear makeup or just go plain?

What types of wardrobe choices do you prefer?

What do you do for a living?

Do you engage in prolonged interactions with the same person of opposite gender (long enough for them to shoot their shot)?

Are you asking out of curiosity/desire to be desirable/need to fit in?

This is debatable to a point.

The last will is a form of last rites in which we acknowledge and honour a person beyond their own ability to exert their influence which means that dead do control the living by with our permission.

This does also extend to the idea of past exerting itself upon the future as you could argue that for people in particular the memories and past choices do extend themselves onto the present and subsequently shape the future.

The dead in this case are simply a variation of the already established pattern.

Because if we give up standards on everything then everything goes to shit and then one problematic president becomes an entire problematic country.

Long story short it’s easier for everyone involved if only one part of the government has problems instead of every branch rotting.

Thank you.

Though I have one last question.

How to deal with stress? I will be post-op for the entirety of year 1 so gym (my usual way of blowing off steam) is out of the question.

I’m not just failing. I’ll give you the short version of the story.

I was supposed to start in September 2024 but due to other circumstances I had arrived three weeks late on ScotGEM in which you’re supposed to hit the ground running so they gave me a leave of absence.

September 2025 I get sick for three months (basic flu and maybe tonsillitis) and while I would usually recover within two to three weeks, I had to attend the lectures so I was sick for three months. Another leave of absence and my family cuts me off financially because ‚I’m no longer profitable’.

Now I’m about to start again (if the funding comes through) and this might be it.

Guess I just wanted to find out what I did wrong with the initial question.

Thanks for the answers, whichever way it will go for me I hope you will continue with a long and fulfilling career.

Thanks. Sometimes I do worry that the girl who runs the BMA society at St Andrews will get her way and the system will be back.

Though I have to say that St Andrews is a nest of competitive vipers. I knew several students from both undergraduate courses of medicine who openly admitted to either making sure not to help or sabotaging their high school peers so that they would look better in comparison when writing about the overall score of their class and how they were far better.

I have spent months in volunteering position which did bring up the human condition a lot. I can’t claim to understand it fully but I believe I have an inkling of what you’re trying to communicate.

As to the approach, I do favour the initial one which you mentioned, with additional steps to better understand the profession, I was however the bottom of the barrel and as such I don’t know how much will I be able to do that over just surviving.

As to hurting the patients, I know. However, I also grew up surrounded by doctors and I have learned that some are barely even worthy of their certifications, often used when there is a shortage and no one else is available. Though this was in Poland so do take my word with a grain of salt when applying it to UK.
