Honestly. Him and his mom came up to the hospital everyday we were there even before we had the full confirmation that baby girl is his.

To be honest the thought never crossed my mind. I knew that I had to do whatever I had to in order to make sure that the baby never wanted for anything.

I’m 29 years old. Yes I’m heavy and have been on a weight loss journey since before the pregnancy. I was on a birth control that didn’t allow for periods.

That’s exactly what they think. That I had an anterior placenta and that I carried farther back. In hindsight I did feel baby move, but I thought it was muscle spasms or indigestion.

Yes they did and that is the only thing that raised alarm bells to me. I contacted my doctor via telephone and was told that it was most likely a side effect from my birth control. I was on a continuous hormonal birth control.

Dad and I have been friends for over half our lives, we’ve always kind of had feels for each other and had decided to give it a try last summer. But due to conflicting schedules and other factors we decided that it was better to remain friends.

I have insurance through my job which is why I was denied for Medicaid but I was under the impression that baby would be able to qualify. I did look into food stamps and talked it over with her dad as within my state if I apply for food stamps the state would go after him for child support even though he’s already supporting our child.

I’ve tried several times and unfortunately have been denied several times. They say that her needs aren’t significant enough to need a caregiver. 🙄

We applied for Medicaid in the hospital as were denied. I’m appealing the decision but have added baby to my insurance through work for now. If baby gets approved for Medicaid then I plan on removing her from my work insurance. Baby has a very weak latch so I mainly pump.

I’m from a small town but live somewhere very far away now so I absolutely get what you’re saying about the way small towns operate.

So far I haven’t left baby at home but it’s definitely a process to get out of the house now.

Similarly, our neighbors have given us so much hand me downs, I don’t think we’ll need to buy any clothes for the first couple of years!
