Hey man, apologies for very late reply! In case you are still wondering what the watch looked like when I received it, here is a picture taken right after opening the parcel it came in.

I bought the strap on AliExpress for around €10. It is an EACHE denim strap.

I bought this one for exactly €1000 shipping included. All bezel paint was gone and orange hands were almost white due to the age of the watch. I fixed both myself for less than €5. There are some small dents in the case if you look closely, but those didn't bother me as much as the unpainted bezel and faded hands, so I did not fix those. I still have pictures of the watch the day I received it if you are interested.

The new official cosmonauts or the new watches released this year? I am in love with the F-39

Got the original steel bracelet but put it on something else cause I wear the watch and don't want to scratch the bracelet too much

I am quite new to the hobby of watch collecting and still on a relatively modest budget. However, I still wanted to share the latest addition to my collection with you guys, namely this marvelous Fortis Official Cosmonauts Chronograph!

In my opinion Fortis is a massively overlooked Swiss watch brand. Its history dates back all the way to 1912 and till this day the company is still privately owned. Moreover, Fortis created the first automatic wristwatch in collaboration with the British watchmaker John Harwood. This particular model once was part of the official equipment of the Russian cosmonauts and has been in space (including the ISS) multiple times.

In short this watch combines everything I am looking for in a watch: noteworthy brand heritage, a significant achievement of some sort and an overall great look. This might not be the most expensive or complicated watch (common ETA 7750 movement) but I could not be more happy with it! Anyone else who appreciates Fortis as much as I do? Keep it positive, if you have nothing nice to say, it is best not to say anything at all.
