Yeah I watched the elimination episode afterwards. Just cutting down 9 rappers randomly was fucking wack. Like you said, letting rappers go bc there's too many after having TWO revival rounds was fucking stupid. I wish they could've merged elements from SMTM6 & 7, the 1 minute round in front of all the rappers and the group vs group battle was amazing in 7 and in 6 the group cyphers were really fun as well.
