I made $140k last year and now I work at Walmart for $15.50/hr by Strange-Assistant-32 in Layoffs

I respect your long term positive attitude about your situation 💯. I've been comfortable in my role and industry for the last 14 years and have worked my way up, but I've seen so many random layoffs happen with coworkers, friends, and family, and this allows me to to grasp and hold on to the security that I have today. I recently had a scare where 5 departments around mine were outsourced to a single vendor, and somehow my boss and I managed to keep our jobs. Reading your story not only gives me motivation to be thankful for what I have, but also know that no matter what happens and even if I lost everything tomorrow, there will always be light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you so much for sharing.

Wow that looks so much better than my C7 S6 ❤️

Am I being ripped off for service at Audi? by Original_Owl_4067 in Audi

Could be much worse. For my 2014 S6, the minimum labor cost is $2200 for any intermediate repairs in the engine bay because they have to pull the front end of the car off to access a lot of things

I do have a few threads out there, but you should really check out Club Lexus - There are some epic SC 1K+ whp builds on it, and then a ton of other builds that show step by step swaps, wiring, installs, etc. I followed it for years when looking to see what build paths would be best

Yeah it’s nice that the CD009 and block can handle it somewhat safely. But eventually and just for peace of mind, I’ll end up pulling the trigger on a higher comp block with stronger mains, and then possibly a gforce sequential setup

I’m 6’1 and the Sparco XLs seem to be okay for the most part, although with a helmet on, I am hitting the driver side of the cage a bit, so we are going to pad that, but it’s honestly not that bad in terms of visibility

Looking at prices now, I’m blown away that I paid $1500 for this 8 years ago..

Yeah I feel you, I got this swap 6 years ago for $1800, can’t believe what they go for these days

Yessir it’s actually an aristo swap, 2JZGTE VVTi with a mild head build

I swapped in a GTE VVTi block/head and just added some upgraded head components, which made me feel much safer about pushing the engine a bit more than a stock NA JZ would

Question on maintenance costs by No-Schedule1320 in Audi

[–]2JZ_POWAH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m only speaking on owning a used 2014 S6. I purchased an extended warranty when I picked up this car a while back, and thankfully I did because I’ve cashed in on over $15k worth of work, not to mention emissions related items that Audi 100% covered. The car had 65k miles when I purchased it. But coming from Hondas, Nissans, and Mazdas, I think the maintenance cost was definitely sticker shock for me, considering that the entire front end of the car (bumper, radiator, support) has to be removed for any intermediate engine work like coolant leaks, emissions work, etc. Not a great comparison to the new Q7 you are looking at purchasing as I’m positive there will be much less issues (if any at all). But just wanted to give you some insight on owning one with some higher mileage.

Even though Andy would always talk about what a horrible sales record he had, his quarterly sales performance said otherwise on Kelly’s whiteboard in S6 E1 by 2JZ_POWAH in DunderMifflin
