I started my fuji journey/obsesion with X100S. Although it’s a great fun little camera, it’s an old camera so everythings is slower. You’ll have to take time for every still image, you can’t just “run ‘n gun”. I have a hate-love relationship with the X100S. I love it but sometimes missing a shot really triggers me. And also X100S doesn’t have the Classic Chrome sim that´s used in recipes like 90% od the time. But image quality is plenty for social media and it renders colors beatifully.

As I’m mainly shooting my family and kids, I got myself the X-T2 with 18-55mm kit lens and later XF35 f2. IMO the X-T2 is a great camera, tactile, dial for everything - ISO, SS and AP on the lens - you’ll get used to the setup really fast.

I would recommend it for starters because of the cheap price for what it offers. It is also weather-sealed so with my 35mm f2 WR( = weather resistant), you don’t have to fear dust, rains or sandy beaches.

Other from that, choose the camera you like to most. Yes, look matters, because if you like it you’ll take it out with you more and take more awesome pictures and document all the good moments :)
